We safely returned home on February 8, Thursday, and we wanted to express our gratitude for your team’s excellent support during our stay in Ecuador. I’ve provided daily feedback, and now I’d like to share our overall thoughts to assist in enhancing your operations in the future.

Coordination/Communication: The daily plan communicated through WhatsApp was highly effective. Your coordination with the hotel was commendable, except for a minor glitch on Day 13 during the Los Tuneles Snorkeling Tour. The discrepancy in pickup timings between the hotel manager’s information (7:15 AM) and your communication (7:30 AM) and snorkeling gear pickup caused confusion. Clarifying such details in advance would prevent similar situations.

Accommodations: Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodations, with the exception of San Vicente. Rating it as a 3-star establishment might be misleading. The disappointing breakfast and lack of Wi-Fi in the room were drawbacks. On the positive side, the staff at iKala were friendly. The facilities at Suchipakari seemed less maintained, possibly attributed to the challenges posed by the recent pandemic.

Transportation: All transportation, including air travel, was generally good to excellent. Coordination was well-executed.

Tour Agenda: We enjoyed the planned itinerary, with one small recommendation. Consider omitting the Intiñan Equator Museum from future itineraries. The Coriolis force demonstration, given its proximity to the equator line, seemed staged and not scientifically accurate. This is a minor issue, but skipping it might enhance the overall experience.

Flexibility: Thank you for accommodating the numerous changes we requested throughout our schedule. Your flexibility greatly contributed to our positive experience.

Transparency: While we understand the necessity of covering costs and ensuring a proper profit, sharing cost differences with a clear markup would provide greater transparency. This information would help us better understand and appreciate the value of the services provided.
