We saw so many sights that day

We saw so many sights that day. We started from the Pululahua Crater. The view from the crater rim was incredible. Then we went to the Equator Line Museum. The museum has very interesting and colorful exhibitions. We have learned a lot and everyone had a chance to do some scientific and funny experiments. We also saw a local dance presentation there. The museum is must see if you are visiting Quito. Then we went to the Old Town. We started from the statue of La Virgen del Panecillo. Our guide Caroline (Carito Pinto) explained all the elements of this monument to us. If you are looking for a private guide ask for Carolina because she was the best guide ever. She is very knowledgeable, speaks great English, she is smooth driver and she is well organized. Together we had a delicious lunch in the charming Old Town and we restored our energy well. Then we continued visiting Old Town and at the end we went to Basilica of the National Vow. It is the largest neo-Gothic cathedral in the Western Hemisphere and it is absolutely beautiful. Caroline led us through it, above the celling and up to the tower. I wasn’t brave enough to climb last ladders but my husband had no fear of heights. He took some spectacular pictures of the town for me.
It was really wonderful day. Thank you again dear Caroline.
