Our tour guide grew up in the Amazon

Translated from dutch: nature, lovely people and delicious food. To finish our trip we decided to take another trip to the Amazon from Quito. I thought the holiday couldn’t get any better, but this became the highlight. So don’t skip this. We left from Quito with a private van that picked us up from our hotel, this saves you a lot of time. You sit in the car, but the view is beautiful! Once you arrive in Cuyabeno you will be immediately welcomed by your tour guide from your lodge and you will have a delicious lunch. Then the adventure begins and you can relax with a boat across the river to your lodge where you will find beautiful animals (monkeys, snakes, sloths, beautiful birds). I was in the Nicky lodge with my friend. Everything was very clean, there is even hot water and the beds slept wonderfully. The staff helped you everywhere and wow we had a nice meal! Our tour guide grew up in the Amazon, so he really spotted the smallest and best sheltered animals. The highlight is the harpy eagly with its young in a nest! I can go on for a while, but you shouldn’t skip this trip. The trip was booked quickly because Rebecca adventure travel responded quickly.
